Candy sequeira - administrative assistant
Candy was born in San José, Costa Rica where she grew up with her family who started a Baptist church in Curridabat called Dando Una Mano. She served there as the leader of the youth group, music ministry, and the visitation ministry.
She has a degree in Music from ULICORI and UAM, and a degree in Early Music Stimulation. She worked as a Bilingual Music teacher for 10 years at Monterrey School where she had the opportunity to be the coordinator of the Arts Department, create choir arrangements, and conduct children, youth, and adult choirs.
Candy also has been part of Costa Rica´s Precept Ministries team for 22 years as a trainer, leader, coordinating youth camps and teaching how to study the Bible using the inductive method. She also supported Score International for 5 years as a translator. Candy lives in Cartago, loves hiking, reading, drawing and quiet times around nature. She is thrilled to be part of IBC´s family and looking forward to learning more about Jesus!
