Prayer and Care Ministry
The prayer and care ministry was created to help take care of the needs of
members and attenders of International Baptist Church. The first functions of the
ministry is to collect prayer request from the congregation and administration and
present the prayer request to the members of the prayer group for prayer and follow
up.
Second is to provide meals and hospital visits to those who are sick and in need of
help while family members are sick or unable to provide meals for their family.
Third is to follow up with members or attenders who have missed attending
services to see if we can be of any help to them or if they have prayer needs.
We are instructed in God’s Word to help the sick, feed and clothe the poor, and help
the widows in the body of Christ. This ministry is our effort in doing just that.
1 Peter 4:10 "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms".
